On April 17, RWR was referenced in a Washington Post article examining the problems of investing in companies that are involved in activities undermining human rights in China, specifically the persecution of Uighurs and other Muslim ethnic groups. RWR observed that U.S. investment funds rarely conduct due diligence to identify and avoid companies complicit in human rights abuses or connected to China’s defense industry.
